newborn tammar climbing to the pouch

Tammars climb to the pouch with a characteristic swimming motion of the forelimbs. Although these are Macropods (latin for big feet), the hindlimbs are poorly developed at birth, developing the characteristic form of these hopping marsupials long after birth.
